Forever birds, here to stay!

Elderly Meyers sadly surrendered due to ill health and sad passing of his owner.  Forever without worry about her beloved bird companion because he is in safe hands with Karen

Charlie is a 29 year old Senegal whose owner sadly passed away, and Charlie came to us at the owners daughter's request. As he had had holidays with us which he really enjoyed. He recently celebrated his 30th birthday!! 

 Pedro came to us as he was incredibly loud and shouty, and scaring the grandchildren.  As he had settled so well in a couple of months, the owner has said his wishes were that Pedro stayed with us. And we are more than happy with this! He is a work in progress but he is doing fantastic. Pedro is now a community bird off out on adventures meeting the people of Gosport. 

Milo is a young male cockatiel, when he first came to us one of our volunteers fostered him to do an in-depth home assessment. It was ruled that Milo struggled in active home environment, because he simply wanted to be center of attention, it meant if he was not glued to a human (any human he aint picky) he would constantly none stop call and call if he knew a human was home. Milo now has a important job to do, he is now a community bird where he gets to go out and be the center of attention, performing to those at local nursing homes. He gets lots of company living at the shop, and the human companionship when he is out visiting his friends.
